[Fashion] IU’s London pictorial for ‘Sure’

A few weeks back, we reported that IU jetted off to London to shoot a pictorial for the May issue of ‘Sure‘.

After hearing that IU was visiting London, fans swarmed the airport to welcome their favorite idol. They also came to the photoshoot location in order to catch a glimpse of the young star.

During her interview with the magazine, IU stated, “London was one of the places I wanted to visit. Londoners enjoy matching colors and modern designs, which are similar to my tastes.”

The precocious star also revealed some details about her private side, “I continued to find things that I didn’t know about myself. People like the side of IU that isn’t decorated. But that’s not all that makes up who I am.”

A staff for the magazine stated, “We were able to see a 19 year old ‘Lee Ji Eun’ instead of singer IU. She is a brave, shy, bright and healthy-minded girl.”

[Fashion] KARA’s Nicole attends launch event for “AXN”

On April 20th, KARA’s Nicole attended the official launch event for American drama channel, ‘AXN‘.

Wearing black from head to toe, Nicole posed before reporters at the event’s photo wall. It was later revealed that DSP Media had no knowledge of Nicole making this appearance on her own. Nicole reportedly received an invitation from the event’s host and went ahead with her appearance on her own.

As previously reported, the three members of KARA and DSP Media are currently in discussion for a compromise to their legal dispute

[Fashion] Chinese fans pick G-Dragon for having the most ‘unique fashion’ amongst Hallyu idols

Chinese fans have declared loud and clear that they believe Big Bang’s G-Dragon is the leading Hallyu idol for unique fashion.

TVDaily’s Chinese homepage, Koreastardaily, recently conducted a survey that asked 14,547 netizens from China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong about “Who is the best ‘unique fashion’ Hallyu idol?”

In this survey, Big Bang’s G-Dragon placed first with 37.21% (5,413 people) of the votes because he possessed a distinctive style that fans want to emulate. His unique fashion sense has not only brought him several endorsement offers from clothing brands, but from numerous luxury brands as well.

Meanwhile, SHINee’s Key placed 2nd with 25.58%, SS501’s Kim Hyun Joong came in 3rd (13.15%),JYJ’s Park Yoochun was 4th (12.23%), and Kim Jaejoong came in 5th (11.83%).

[Fashion] 2PM’s Nichkhun poses in his underwear for ‘Arena’

Whoa, is that really 2PM’s Nichkhun?? The idol with the brilliant smile tossed his ‘cutesy image’ for a more masculine one in his latest pictorial for ‘Arena Homme Plus‘.

The idol is seen flaunting his sexy abs as he poses in his Giorgio Armani underwear. Fans couldn’t get over how beastly Nichkhun looked, as he showed off a more sophisticated and mature look.

[Fashion]Celebrities love Valentino’s Lace Dress

Celebrities (L-R above) such as Im Su Jeong, Yeom Jeong Ah, Kim So Eun and SNSD’s Jessicahave been caught wearing the same Valentino lace dress over the span of about 3 months.

Im Su Jeong first wore the dress to a production briefing of Come Rain, Come Shine on January 20, 2011.

Yeom Jeong Ah then wore the dress about a month later at MBC Royal Family press conference on February 24, 2011.

Kim So Eun, ambassador of the 5th Korea International Youth Film Festival, wore the same dress to the press conference of the Film Festival on March 29, 2011.

The latest star to jump on the bandwagon is none other than, Jessica of Girls’ Generation who wore the dress to the Suecomma Bonnie fashion show during Seoul Fashion Week on March 31, 2011.

The extremely popular cocktail lace dress is designed by Valentino for their Resort 2011 collection. It’s currently retailing for USD$3980.00 on valentino.com.

[Fashion] SNSD for ‘Marie Claire’

“Pure” was the concept for this photoshoot, and so the girls donned ruffles and lace dresses to not only portray feminine images, but give off a romantic mood. Fans were gasped particularly over Seohyun’s cover because she displayed the image of a more mature woman.

Project stylist Kim Woo Ri commented, “Normally, there are a lot of girlish and fancy styles, but SNSD was able to exhibit the innocent concept the best.“

[Fashion] Shin Se Kyung for “Singles”

Earlier this month, actress Shin Se Kyung took part in a photoshoot with “Singles” lifestyle magazine at a studio in Kangnam.

Since the concept was to emphasize white outfits, the actress expressed an air of chic beauty with the crisp white outfits she donned for the shoot. Staff members couldn’t take their eyes off of her smooth, flawless skin, which fit right in with the image they had aimed for.
